At Rodenhiser Home Services, our trip charges ensure that we can dispatch a skilled technician to your home with a well-stocked truck, ready to accommodate same-day repair options whenever possible. These charges help cover the costs of gas, materials, and tools needed to deliver exceptional service during your appointment.
Trip Charge Amounts
- Heating or Air Conditioning Repairs: $149
- Plumbing Repairs & Estimates: $79
- Electrical Repairs & Estimates: $79
Emergency Service
For urgent needs, Rodenhiser offers Emergency Service outside of normal business hours and, when possible, for same-day emergency priority scheduling.

A flat emergency service fee of $269 applies to:
- All after-hours service calls.
- All weekend service calls.
- Same-day emergency priority scheduling, if available.
- Customers with an active Rodenhiser Maintenance Plan may qualify for a reduced emergency service fee of $149 availability pending.
- This fee replaces the standard trip fee and is not charged in addition to it.
After-Hours Emergency Service
Emergency service is available after our regular office hours to address urgent needs. Please note:
- A flat emergency trip chage of $269 applies to all after-hours service appointments.
- Customers with an active Rodenhiser Maintenance Plan qualify for a reduced emergency trip charge of $149.
When Trip Charges Do Not Apply
Trip charges are not applied to:
- Safety checks, system checks, or annual maintenance visits included in a Rodenhiser Maintenance Plan.
- Estimates for new heating or air conditioning systems, whole-home generators, remodel projects, architecture quotes, painting estimates, carpentry projects, or window replacement estimates.
- Return visits to finish work or estimates accepted after your technician has left.
Additional Details
- Trip charges are separate from diagnostic fees, repair estimates, or the cost of any work performed.
- Coupons or discounts cannot be applied to trip charges. However, applicable coupons can be used for repair or service work completed during the appointment.
- Trip chages are non-waivable and help us maintain the high standard of service you expect from Rodenhiser.
