If you are a Massachusetts resident looking to upgrade your heating and cooling, make your home more comfortable or cut down on high energy bills, you should have the information you need to make an educated decision. Go to the Mass Save website, which has loads of information about government incentives and other ways to save money. (Then call Rodenhiser so we can get that equipment installed!)
Those with older, less efficient heating and cooling equipment can find rebates on central air conditioning units, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits and programmable thermostats. There are even financing options available with approved credit, energy efficient heating and cooling systems.
Simply fill out the short amount of required information at the Mass Save website, click, and the range of rebates and incentives available will be listed. For instance: A Framingham single-family homeowner with natural gas heat can find at least 10 ways to save money on home improvements and new heating installations. An electric heat pump has rebates of up to $300 for qualified equipment. Staying with gas offers rebate incentives on forced air heat, boilers and water heaters. A boiler and water heater combination with an AFUE rating of more than 90 percent is eligible for a $1,600 rebate. There are incentives on everything from heating and cooling system retrofits to weatherization programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for homeowners to save on the front end with rebates and on the back end by drastically reducing their energy consumption. These incentives can help you with energy savings on summer cooling and next winter's bitter weather. Click on the Mass Save website and then contact us at Rodenhiser to help you determine how to qualify for the best incentives on new upgrades to your home comfort equipment.
