We offer service plans for plumbing, heating and cooling. Why is this type of regular maintenance important? Well, think about what happens to your vehicle when you fail to maintain it properly. - Check refrigerant levels and if low, find the leak. According to many equipment manufacturers, a 10% refrigerant loss will result in a 20% decrease in system efficiency!
- Check thermostat controls.
Heating system maintenance:
- Clean the burner assembly.
- Remove soot from fireside of burner.
- Clean and check operation of humidifier.
- Check filters, clean and/or replace as necessary.
- Check pressure switches.
Plumbing maintenance:
- Water heaters: Check thermostat controls, vent assembly, drain tank and clear sediment.
- Toilets: Inspect for leaks and proper flush, adjust float ball, check water measuring device.
- Water pressure: Check pressure, adjust regulator as necessary.
- Drains/pipes: Check for corrosion and proper operation.
- Valves/connections: Check shut-off calves and outside faucets, washing machine connections.
Are maintenance plans a wise investment? According to the Consortium of Energy Efficiency (CEE), up to 50% more energy can be saved with proper installation, sizing, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
